a red-winged black bird at the bird refuge near brigham city.

we got to drive along side this hawk as he hunted. he would occasionally dive bomb the ground going for something but we didn't witness any success.

the setting sun dancing through some reeds on the edge of the water.

looking at the reflection of willard peak.

The time has come the walrus said...

Oak grove looking towards pine valley.
I decided that roughly a year was enough time, and that i needed to update the blog. And since I am so great at writing things, I simply decided to post some of the pictures I've taken and give a small description of it, so thats exactly what I'm going to do...
This is the gorge just across from delicate arch in Moab.

Bringing you all up to date

AHH!! The joys of Fall.
Nicole dressed up with michelle as salt and pepper shakers for Halloween. believe me- she can shake it. :)

Sardine canyon has a unique draw to it each fall. We had lots of fun even though i left my sunglasses and had to hunt them down the next day in all the waist high grass.

More fun in Sardine...

We got to go to Park City with Nicole's family and had a blast! The leaves were at their prime color. We also rode the alpine coaster and alpine slide which brought me back to the days of San Marcos with the radio flyer- good times were had by all but unfortunately they all were not documented due to a dead battery.

Changing leaves made everything look really cool. Awesome time of year to visit. We'll have to do it again next year.

And lastly, it was Nicole's birthday (and her twin's) and we celebrated by going to olive garden because i heard somewhere that when you're there, you're family...

4th of july

the highlight of the day was playing with sparklers. if you look closely, you can see nicole doing an awesome job of writing her name backwards.
i had to go out on my own for a while when nicole and her twin had to work for a couple hours. :(

all kinds of people were seen that morning in the lineup.

we saw all kinds of cool things in the parade.

early in the morning, i ran the patriot border run. i got a bit cocky from last year, but i ran a faster time and ended up getting third overall.

i know that the 4th was a while ago but hopefully this will help us get a feel for this blogging thing.

see what we can do on this thing
