A bit of everything.

I know it's a joke- this is almost a semi-annual thing to post now.
I'll just give you a quick run down of some of the big things to happen
since the last post. We took the boys from work down to Zion, and it
was a really cool experience seeing their reactions. This is one of the hikes we did.
Very amazing places, they never seem to get old.
We got to take them to do the subway. Anyone who hasn't experienced
it yet, needs to, it's amazing.
More Amazing! (the falls, not the pea-shooters....
i'm in it just to prove i was there)
Throughout the summer, we got to camping a bit. This is up
right hand fork in Logan canyon. She looks like an angel.
It's times like these that remind me that its all worth it.
For work, we also took the boys to Jackson Hole.
It was a fun place that I really want to take Nicole back to.
Jackson was extreme for many reasons. For those who don't know-
this shot was taken the sameday that I had the opportunity to help to help
a man who I'd never met, yet grew closer to than many others ever do.
Rest In Peace, Huntley Baldwin. 8/9/11
During the summer, I went with a couple friends to camp
on the Wellsville mtn's. For those who are unaware, they have
the steepest rise to run ratio in North America.(utah.gov) That being
said,it wasn't the longest excursion I've been on, but it sure kicked
my butt. The view from the top made it more than worth it.
Tim and I showing why Cache Valley winters are worth it.
P.S.- finding any flat area to sleep on proved much
harder than expected.
A fun pano from half way up.
Once the leaves started turning, Nicole and I decided to
take some fun pictures together, and these are some of the results.
I'm so glad I'm married to this girl!
Another budy and I went out for a hike on the Wellsvilles
and saw some pretty fun things.
This shot shows how eager old man winter is to get ol' Logan
in his clutches.
We also saw some pretty funky fungi- I only thought these
grew in Canada and stuff... guess not.
I love Sardine canyon!
Another fun, Fall shot up the canyon.
This year's Jack-o-lanterns. Since anatomy is more or less
ruling my life right now, I had to get it out some way. Go ahead,
just start imagining- zygomatic arch, nasal conchae, vomer,
lambdoidal suture, or what have you......
Nicole said she was supposed to be a cat, but
I thought she was a fox!
We got to go down to St. George for Thanksgiving and actually got to see Justin
and Claire's new baby, Louise. You can tell by this look that she was a bit cautious,
but ended up being a very good sport with how much we held her.
As comfortable as she seemed to get with us, she was sure to
ALWAYS keep an eye on us.... but who can blame her.
She is definitely a cute and welcome addition to the family.
It was a fun and exciting Thanksgiving dinner with many friends
and family (thanks Mom), and it'll even be more fun next year.
When we got back home, Nicole was dying to break out Christmas,
so we turned on some festiv music and went to work.
(Thanks Bonnie & Eric for the tree)
It was a complete seasonal sensation when we enjoyed a
Clark W. Griswald moment- there's a little knot for ya Russ...
And last but not least, we moved to a new apartment!!!
They say that good things take time. It must be true because
the 4 years we waited for this made it seem unreal.

This is for you Jon- displayed proudly as they should be.
They're a valued possession.
